REQUIREMENTS:

Runs on your computer, for free (no hidden costs for you).
You will need an NVIDIA GPU that supports StableDiffusion.
AMD GPU is also supported but check #amd-gpu on our Discord.

So, at least a GTX 1080 or later, + appropriate CPU with at least 12 GB RAM. If using minimal zip, check Discord for instructions #custom-webui

This installer will install required Python and the Forge Automatic1111 repository. Installer will also automatically download some important Control Nets, which are several GB in size.

I was verified by Sectigo (Comodo) who gave me their digital certificate. You can right-click the exe -> 'Properties' -> 'Digital Signatures' to confirm. Check out the video about my certificate

I am a new developer. If you see "Windows prevented your PC from starting an unknown publisher app", click More Info and click Run anyway

I’ve included a video tutorial inside the program to help you get going.

CORE FEATURES:

Create, combine, and fine-tune high-quality textures for your 3D models, with ease.

  • Preserves the original UVs.
  • Makes multiple art variants (batches of art), via the Depth of the scene. Art is then automatically projected onto the 3D objects.
  • Texture entire object at once, via Multi-View-Projection. Great for visual consistency.
  • You can mix different art-projections and remove seams between them.
  • Adjust blending by painting/brushing directly on the 3D model.
  • Adjust Hue, Saturation, Value, Contrast of any 2D-art-projection.
  • Generate and use 2D Background to inspire the StableDiffusion when texturing your actual 3D-object.
  • Bake Ambient Occlusion shading, applies on top of all projections.
  • Uses several Control Net units, the first one is Depth (ON by default).
  • Uses img2img (Inpaint) Masking, to project only into selected areas. Ability to additionally enhance it with an inpaint-ControlNet unit.
  • You can use additional control net, such as Style-transfer control net, etc. Open your 3D models (OBJ), your own textures (PNG, JPG). Both txt2img and img2img capabilities.
StableProjectorz is created by one guy, Igor Aherne.

2D Art Projection Tips:

Inside the 2D art projections tab, left-click an icon of 2D Art to choose it (Shows a red frame around it). You can have only one 2D art icon chosen, per batch of icons (a generation could have several icons).

Holding CTRL and hovering over a 2D art icon will show a checker on your 3D model, where the projection will land. This helps when there are many projections from different angles.

In the 2D art tab, you can also load your texture from a file. It will always be drawn first, under all projections. The same applies for the 2D backgrounds tab.

In the viewport, teleport between projections POV by pressing A and D. You can lower/increase the priority of the orange-frame art-projection (to show it above others) by pressing S or W.

To quickly see the order of projections on the 3D model, hold R. Darker areas are drawn earlier, whiter areas are drawn later, on top.

Masking Tips:

To fine-tune the mask of the current 2D art projection: left-click the icon of a 2D Art (shows a golden frame). Then paint on the 3D model with your mouse to mask the selected 2D Art projection.

Press 'X' to flip the mask-brush from positive to negative (show/conceal the 2D art when painting over it).

In addition to painting on a 3D model, you can click "Screen Mask" (top right of the screen). While in this mode, left dragging in the viewport will draw a screen-space-2D-mask. You can then scroll down the left Input panel (prompt, samplers, etc.) and adjust the Inpaint settings at the bottom.

If you have a 2D background, Inpaint will always be active and img2img will be used. In that case, the entire object is "secretly" auto-masked, so stable diffusion can look around it and paint the object (inside the mask). However, if you then paint a 2D mask (using the brush), your mask will be used instead, until you exit the Mask mode.

More Tips:

Ensure you have a 3D model selected, by selecting meshes in the 3D Obj panel. No active 3D model = no projections.
Ensure models have non-overlapping texture coordinates (UV). Otherwise you might see black spots. Press F to focus.

Ensure you always have at least one control net unit as active (green) and that it's a Depth control-net. Without a depth control-net active, projections will not land on 3D models, but it is okay for backgrounds.

Depending on which Control-net you have downloaded, you probably can keep its Preprocessor dropdown as "none". Usually, it's important that the ControlNet Model dropdown specifies "depth". For example, control_v11p_sd15_depth.

There is no CTRL+Z yet, save your texture often! Ambient Occlusion can be baked from the Art tab. Just as any 2D art icons, you can right-click and fine-tune the ambient occlusion.

LATEST VERSION ADDITIONS:

Version 1.4.6 additions:
  • Import normals (wrapped around object) or for background, from top of Arts or Arts BG tab. Only to be seen by CTRL Nets.
  • Fixed annoying bug that forced Edit Mode when there was a background and more than 1 camera.
  • Fixed bug during loading a save-file: control net preview-icon loads correctly.
  • Added warnings if there is 'XL' in name of your base neural net, but no XL in some Depth or Normal CTRL net.
  • Fixed the aspect-ratio glitch that happened during loading of non-square projections.
  • CTRL+click on preset will paste text where cursor (caret) is in the text prompt. No longer constrained for merely appending to the end.
Version 1.4.3 additions:
  • Saving / Loading of the project are possible. All art images are conveniently stored into the Data folder, next to the .spz file.
  • Added presets for the Text Prompts. Click to switch the text entirely. Ctrl+Click to append to the current text.
  • Memory improvements: deleting icon of a batch will release its GPU memory without waiting for you to delete the entire batch of icons.
  • Bugfix with the viewport-circles: projections no longer ignore the models if viewports are outside the Main View window.
  • Minor adjustment to the Super Depth, making its contrast slightly more adequate.
  • ControlNet bugifx: now MyPromptIsMoreImportant and ControlNetIsMoreImportant are actually differing. (before it was only the former).
  • ControlNet bugfix: the LowVRAM in control net, - now it actually gets sent.
  • ControlNet bugfix: Fixed the preview-image from becoming desaturated.
Version 1.3.8 additions:
  • Support for Forge webui (new) + the Automatic1111 webui (legacy). Forge increases the speed of image generation by x2. For example, 8 seconds instead of 17. This allows to generate more images at once.
  • Smooth Depth: resolves wireframe-glitches of certain SDXL networks. Allows to blur the depthmap inside StableProjectorz, to conceal any low-polyness.
  • Bugfix with projections not landing on isolated objects. For example, hiding the walls of a building, to texture a door mesh.
  • Viewport numbers will fade out when the mouse is moved away. Good for previews.
Version 1.3 additions:
  • Added ability to generate multiple views with the same projection (Multi-View Projection). This greately improves consistency of projections from different sides of your 3D models.
  • Preventing webui disconnects during high-resolution generations (longer timeout 4sec->20 sec).
  • Optimized GPU usage, especially when the app is idle.
  • 'FPS Perform' toggle will also reduce + restore resolution while generating, making it easier for the GPU to focus on diffusing.
  • Added Camera Snapping (pressing CTRL while orbiting will align it to 1 of the 6 world directions)
  • FBX models load correctly even if they are skinned to bones (rigging)
  • Adjusting Camera field-of-view looks nicer, no longer zooms out.
Version 1.2.0 additions:
  • Grid can be toggled to show 2, 3, 4 icons per row.
  • Change the order of projections by rearranging the icons in the grid. Pressing S or W while in the viewport will also rearrange icons, and A/D will change the selection.
  • Ability to move your custom textures up/down.
  • Improvements in texture memory of brush masks (memory consumption reduced).
  • Improved visibility of icon groups: borders + tinting of icons during hover. Can be switched off. This caused the removal of the icon-scaling effect.
  • Ambient occlusion bugfix: ensured its background is black instead of transparent.
  • Camera alignment bugfix: pressing 'Restore Camera' will definitely return it to the correct location.
  • Context menu is shown by default when hovering over an icon (good for new users). Can be switched off.
  • Minor improvements to the icon context menu.
  • Minor improvements to the header in the Art and Art-BG panel.
  • Minor corrections to Projection Draw Order (shown when the R key is held)
Patch 1.1.4 additions:
  • an actual seed displayed in the icon instead of -1
  • Backgrounds can be adjusted by Hue/Saturation/Value/Contrast
  • If Art (or Art BG) tab is open, CTRL+RightClick in viewport opens context menu for current icon
Patch 1.1.3 additions:
  • loading FBX (though OBJ is preferred).
  • removed seams (using texture dilation)
  • resizing brush inside viewport (Shift + rightMouseDrag)
  • loading custom images into projection icons (Shift + rightMouseDrag)
  • throttling FPS during generation, to help your GPU focus more.
  • bugfixes with the ControlNet preprocessor and with brushing.
  • removed Reset Mask button. Resets automatically if mask mode is turned off
Patch 1.1.2 additions:
  • improves loading of obj files
  • Added support for legacy control net count parameter, for users with their own webui (from apr 2023)
